Spring Semester

School has started again and im doing 12 credits this semester instead of nine like fall semester. It's already crazy. Mondays are the worst im in class for over 5 hours and then I have to study between classes too. Needless to say it will be a long 4 months but I will be done the beginning of May! I cant believe after this semester I will have been in school for a full year straight since i went last summer. Makes me feel very accomplished! :) I'm still tossing around between the CIS or accounting program. Both have very similar classes so I still have a while to decide. I've just wanted for a couple years now to open my own business. That would be so cool! Anyway other than that I'm finally off accutane and i'm seriously hoping it worked, it's such a relief not to have to take that pill twice a day. I'm also getting into organizing like big time. You would think its spring cleaning or something. I've been going room by room in my small amounts of spare time it's finally starting to come together somewhat. AND my dishwasher came in today!! I'm going to make Tom install it so I can finally be done hand washing dishes! Till next time...:)

10/13/2011

Wow this week has been pretty lame. I read part of the book "Way to Be!" by Gordon B Hinckley. I'm about 1/2 way and I really have liked it so far. I'm having one of those off weeks like I have ZERO motivation...I havent worked out I can't study I try and it's just not sticking..not what I want happening the week before midterms and I work long shifts all weekend so that just makes it worse! I have felt awful all week and I think thats whats causing this slump but it needs to go away..and fast. I turned in my huge essay monday so that was a huge relief off my back. Hopefully next week will go better than this one!

Running Challenge Week 1

So last week didnt go very well. It was raining so bad that it took days for us to be able to bring in my elliptical and I had a paper due today that I worked on all week so I only ran 3 miles last week so I really need to pick up my game this week. I only got 1 day in I did 1 1/2 miles in the afternoon and burned 354 calories and later that night I ran another 1 1/2 miles and burned 262 calories. This week I'm determined to do a lot more! :) This week and next week are mid terms and I'm a bit nervous but hope all goes well.

My workout challenge

So I heard of this exercise challenge a few months ago and I decided today I want to start it. The challenge is that in 3 months you run/walk 100 miles so my plan is hopefully tomorrow I will get Tom to bring in our elliptical and our spinning bike from the shed so I can start. It will be tough though that means at least every day I will have to run 1 mile at least and if I don't want to run everyday...which I don't (I like other workouts better) then I have to do more than 1 each day I do it...the most I ever went was 5 and I thought I was never going to be able to move my leg muscles again HAHA. So this is the plan...start October 2 and end January 2 :) talk about a good way to kick off the New Year! I will keep my miles posted! :)

Update and Thrifting finds!!

Wow my last 6 weeks have been so crazy. I have had so much going on between school and work and trying to finish painting my house (yes its still in progress)I almost completely finished today Im super proud of myself and I'm almost to my favorite part...DECORATING!! I have a huge paper due in like 10 days...slacker right here! Yesterday was honestly the first time since school started i went and did something fun.
Me and Tristyn went thrifting and we LOVE it..I found such cute stuff and I got it all for like $26. My favorite find was a necklace and it was so funny I had told Tristyn about this type of necklace I wanted and we were talking about it again while checking out....on our way out the door we decided to stop and look at what jewelry there was and OH MY GOSH it was just sitting there all cute just waiting for me to buy it. I am one happy girl now!

~Mudd sweater/vest (Mustard yellow color) $7.99

So Im picturing this with either a short sleeve or long sleeve white shirt with some jeans and either a cute scarf or a hat.

~Eddie Bauer sweater/vest (Off white color) $5.99

This is made out of $55% lambs wool (SWEET!) and I am picturing wearing this with a long or short sleeve shirt underneath and some leggings (I really want some navy blue ones) and some boots!

~Dressbarn Skirt (Grey with specks of white) $5.99

This skirt is so cute the camera doesn't do it justice because my camera just plain sucks! But this would be so cute with one of my fitted white tops tucked in, a bulky black belt around the top of the skirt and some tall black boots!

9/6/2011

WOW! It's been a while I didn't realize how long it had been! Now I'm back in school starting my 3rd week already. I have pretty much done nothing but study this whole time other than work. We did paint a little on the house yesterday but only for a bit..I really want it done..I'm so sick of looking at half primed walls, it's not very attractive! Hopefully things will slow down a bit with school and I can have a little more free time to actually somewhat enjoy my days haha but so far it's just been super chaotic. My workouts slacked there for a few days..it was like 5 days without working out and that is just not normal for me at all. So my first workout again was like 2 nights ago and man I have been so sore it's crazy how fast your body starts reverting back into a lazy bum!
